I am Sarah, 29 and my husband, Randy is 31.
My husband and I got married in March 2009. Shortly after we got married we decided that we wanted to try and get pregnant and threw out the birth control. I was so sure that it would happen right away and so I became obsessed with everything baby (seriously... I have a wish list built on Babies R Us' website).
A few months after we started trying we moved to Phoenix. My cycles were funky since going off of BC and we were pretty sure I had thyroid problems (due to family history). So I made an appointment with a PCP and gynecologist immediately. My thyroid was definitely off and I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease and my PCP told me that he thought I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
In December 2009 I did my first round of clomid and it was confirmed that I have PCOS through my mid-cycle ultrasound. The clomid didn't work and I never ovulated. Neither did the next two rounds at increasingly higher doses.
So we moved onto a Reproductive Endocrinologist. Within my first week with the RE he discovered a 45 mm cyst on my left ovary and everything was put on hold waiting for the cyst to go away.
My husband had his sperm analysis and results were EXCELLENT! Yeah... he got a little cocky after that. :)
In May I had my HSG with all results good and normal.
In June we moved to Orlando, FL where we are now.
I am currently with an amazing RE and working on my fourth cycle with him. He's gotten me to ovulate for the first time in over 3 years (once with femara alone and once with femara and follistim) and that is pretty exciting! Last month I even ovulated 3 eggs! So there is much progress and we are very hopeful for our future.

My fourth cycle ended up being a surprising success! At 18 dpo, one day late, I got my BFP!
I am currently almost halfway through the pregnancy and other than horrendous morning sickness it has been all smooth sailing. I was very worried I would have the same problems my mother had (she had 11 miscarriages) but this pregnancy has gone so perfectly that I am astonished. And grateful.
We also found out last week that we are having a boy! We can't wait to meet this little guy!!
Please follow our journey to parenthood!

On August 3, 2011, after 56 hours of labor and an emergency c-section, we welcomed our perfect Brady Conrad. 6 lbs 5 oz and 19 inches.
He is the light of our lives and we could not be more blessed or thankful.
